Based on these data, said Lutfi, South Kalimantan Legislative Council (DPRD) supports Ulin General Hospital's plan to establish a heart and blood vessel service center.
So far, he added, patients with heart disease and blood vessels from South Kalimantan wnt to hospitals outside, even abroad, for a treatment.
"We hope the presence of heart and blood vessel service centers will be able to ease the burden on the patients because Ulin Hospital can perform heart surgery," he remarked.
Lutfi also hopes that the South Kalimantan Government's hospital plan to carry out its first heart surgery in August runs smoothly and successfully.
In preparation for establishing a heart and blood vessel service center, Ulin Hospital directors or management went for a work visit to the National Heart Foundation at the Harapan Kita Hospital Jakarta.
