Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A Special team of South Kalimantan Directorate of Drug Detective (Ditresnarkoba) Police busted a recidivist who hid 25 grams crystal meth (sabu-sabu).
"The perpetrator has twice entered the jail in drugs case and is now re-arrested for circulating sabu-sabu," said Director of Drug Detective Sr Comr (Kombes) Muhammad Firman in Banjarmasin on Saturday.
OL (48), he said, has long been monitored and become the police's target operations (TO) for the last month.
After being informed there will be drug deal involved OL, Ditresnarkoba team led by Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Daryanto conducted an ambush on Friday (16/3) night at the roadside of Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 2 Banjarmasin.
"When the ambush we found a package of sabu-sabu from the suspect," said Firman.
Police then development the case to find again four large packages of sabu-sabu, so the total sabu-sabu seized 25 grams.
On the findings, the suspect charged with Article 114 of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics.
"I ordered members of the team to continue to develop because the perpetrator is strongly alleged part of a large network that circulates sabu-sabu in Banjarmasin," said Firman.
