Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Council for National Handicrafts Indonesia (Dekranasda)
featuring sasirangan fabric crafts with typical HSS motif, katupat, in the 2018 Banjarmasin Sasirangan Festival (BSF).
This is the second time HSS present at BSF, said Dekranasda HSS Daily Chairwoman who is also Head of the Manpower, Cooperatives, Small Enterprises, and Industry Agency (Disnakerkop and UKP) Sasmi Rifani.
"By joining 2018 BSF shows HSS also has a superior product of sasirangan fabric with various motifs, namely katupat motifs, rabung paring, and balanting paring," she said in Banjarmasin.
Sasirangan HSS, she said, began to have a place in the hearts of public servants, schoolchildren, village officials to the general public. This is in line with the local regent's appeal for people to use the original HSS product of sasirangan, thus reviving the micro, small and medium enterprises in the district.
She hopes, through the Dekranasda HSS booth at 2018 BSF, HSS sasirangan fabric is increasingly recognized. In addition to Sasirangan, HSS also features a variety of woodcraft products, bamboo crafts, to snack products.
