Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The city government of Banjarmasin insisted there is no business space at the green open space of Kamboja which covers about four hectares located in the heart of the city, despite investors' desire to manage it.

"The Ibnu-Herman government has decided Kamboja land fully for green open space (RTH)," said Deputy Mayor Hermansyah replied Antaranews on Monday regarding the land use.
In a two-year government of Mayor Ibnu Sina and Deputy Mayor of Hermansyah press conference, he who was accompanied by City's Secretary Hamdan Kursani and Assistant II Drs Hamdi explained that the desire to make Kamboja land completely for green open space is not negotiable.
According to Hermansyah, after the land is released entirely it will be developed into green open space so that the land is really owned by the public, not the property of the investor.
To provide comfort to the public will be built various facilities under the trees, such as children's playground, a place to exercise for community, even for the relaxed place for the citizens to reduce fatigue.
With the green open space policy is expected there is no polemic about Kamboja land use, he added.
The policy is taken considering the area of ??green open space in the city of Banjarmasin is too small than required by the central government, so any space can be made will always be made a green space.
There is even a new policy of the City Government in an effort to increase the green space to require the housing developers who want to do business in this city show the location plan with the provisions of 30 percent green space.
If the developer can not fulfil the provision, then the developer will not be granted a license.
To increase the extent of green open space in Banjarmasin also, said Hermansyah, there is a plan to revise the master spatial plan (RTRW) according to its allocation, because the previous RTRW is not appropriate anymore.
