Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 29/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - A 221x39,30 meters piece of land part of the Basirih waste final disposal (TPA) in South Banjarmasin continues to the local legislative council (DPRD).

DPRD Banjarmasin brought together the city government with disputed landowner Maskamah (79), who was accompanied by her sons in a, mini-board room of the city council building on Monday.

According to Aliansyah, DPRD member, this meeting is as a follow-up of the letter submitted to the meeting of the deliberation on the complaints of people claiming to own land in the Basirih landfill but has not yet been fully paid by the city government.

"This land dispute happened in 1995. Landowners claimed to be incomplete to receive compensation promised by the city government of Rp31 million for the land," said the PKS politician.

This claim, however, contradicted the archives of the municipal government, that the compensation for the land has been made.

"Upon this maze, we ask the city government to solve it, because the data of the recipients of compensation is also not clearly archived by the city government," he explained.

Aliansyah agreed the steps the city government initiated for the heirs of the land to bring this issue to the court.

"Because the city government claimed it does not matter to compensate for the land if there is a court decision. It is understood that the state money cannot be arbitrarily issued," he said.

Meanwhile, the heir of the land, Arisani stated, his mother had never get the price of compensation in full for the land for the TPA in addition to Rp7 million downpayment.

"If the city government declared that it has settled the payment of the land price, what is the proof, of who paid, with whom to hand over, and when," he said accompanied by the mother.
