Balangan Police Catches a Woman Thief

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Members of the Crime Detective Unit (Reskrim) of the Balangan Police arrested a female perpetrator of theft by force (curat) that occurred in South Paringin Subdistrict.

"We confiscated the evidence of four Mandiri and BRI ATM cards and a black Honda CBR motorcycle suspected of being the result of the crime," said Head of the unit Adj Comr (AKP) Dany Sulistiono SE in Paringin on Wednesday.

The suspect AM (21) was previously reported by her victim Nuzulliah Hasvita Sari (25) for allegedly stealing a victim's wallet containing Rp500,000 in cash and securities and an ATM card with a balance of Rp2,400,000.

Balangan Police who received the report on Sunday (8/1), immediately conduct an investigation.

Then on Tuesday (9/1), the Jatanras (Crime with Violence) Unit arrested the perpetrator at her residence in Awayan, Balangan.

"Previously the perpetrator came to the victim's house during the wedding reception, allegedly at a busy time the perpetrator took the victim's wallet to take all the money in the victim's ATM card," said Dany again.

For her actions, the suspect was charged with the theft by force as Article 363 of the Criminal Code.
