Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Police Chief Brig. Gen. Rachmat Mulyana confirmed that he would sack Brigadier Jumadi (31), who was the brain of a Rp10 billion robbery owned by Bank Mandiri.

"After a court ruling on his case, I immediately took him to the Commission Code of Ethics session to be dismissed," Rachmat said in Banjarmasin on Friday.

He seemed so furious with the act of his men who served in Sabhara Unit of Tabalong Police.

Data have shown that the unscrupulous who tarnished the institution's name had three times committed disciplinary offenses, namely abandoning family, using drugs, and leaving duty without permission.

"Hedonic lifestyle with the rank of brigadier and show off as he is a regional police chief," Rachmat told with a smile.

After being caught, Jumadi later discovered that he planned a robbery action on Thursday (4/1).

He deliberately did not attend morning roll call and filed for borrowed firearms to perform escort money collection by employees of Bank Mandiri Tanjung Branch to Bank Mandiri Banjarmasin.

On the way back to Tanjung, Jumadi picked up his friend Yongki alias Java (34) in Banjarbaru before the robbery took place.

In fact, there is a manifest passenger plane at Syamsudin Noor Airport on behalf of Jumadi flying at 14.00 pm for Jakarta destination.

"So after a robbery report, I immediately ordered the members to check all the places that were supposed to be his escape, including the airport, and even the entire resort police to make an ambuscade," explained police chief when exposed the evidence of money that was seized from the perpetrator Jumadi.
