Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The murder case in RT 5, Belandean Muara Village, Alalak Sub-District, Barito Kuala District (Batola) allegedly has a background of revenge.


The incident that occurred on Wednesday morning around 08.30 am, according to Barito Kuala Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Mugi Sekar Jaya through Head of Crime Detective Adj Comr (AKP) Sakun, could make a frenzy of local residents.

Initially, a witness who saw the incident told, Sakun said, the perpetrator Sp (41) stopped the victim Ahmad Barjanji (55). They immediately wrestled in a fight.

The witness who saw the incident immediately shouted for help, but no residents came out of the house.

"The victim was lying and covered in blood suffered a torn wound to the abdomen and died at the scene, when the perpetrator fled inward," Sakun told Antaranews Kalsel.

Knowing the incident, Head of Crime Detective and Berangas Police Chief Sec Insp (Ipda) Abdulah Niam directly lead joint activities to find the perpetrator. But the offender then surrendered before he was caught.

"The suspect immediately surrendered himself to the Berangas Police after the murder," said Barito Kuala Police Chief AKBP Mugi Sekar Jaya through Sakun in Marabahan, Wednesday.

"With the evidence of a perpetrator's knife, he is subject to Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of fifteen years," said the former Gambut Police Chief.
