Kotabaru, S Kalimantan 27/11 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tiga Roda cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa in Tarjun, Kotabaru, will immediately build a street lighting system (PJU) along 16 kilometers between Serongga Village to Tarjun Village.


"The installation of PJU is part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the cement company," said Head of Public Housing and Spatial Agency H Akhmad Rivai in Kotabaru on Monday.

With the installation of PJU lamps, continued Akhmad Rivai, security and comfort for road users from Serongga to Tarjun is increasing.

The PJU will utilize Indocement's production of electricity, some of which are self-used and partly handed over to PLN to be managed.

Hopefully, he said, the policy of the cement industry Indocement can be followed or emulated by other companies in Kotabaru.

Rivai added, the program of installing PJU lamps in protocol streets and residential areas is one of the agency, Dinas Cipta Karya, and Tata Ruang, program.

In addition to providing useful street lighting also provides comfort for road users. And no less important is to have the aesthetic value or the beauty of the city.

"In addition to PJU lamps, we also program the installation of colorful lights in the office environment," he said.

This program, he continued, starts at his agency first, and is expected to be copied by the other government office or Unit of Organization of the Regional Devices (SOPD).
