Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Kapar Village Government inTabalong District, South Kalimantan, allocates Rp200 million to build village-owned enterprises (Bumdes) to increase village income.


Director of Kapar Village's BUMdes Karya Mandiri Erwansyah in Tanjung on Tuesday said that BUMdes infrastructure development begins in 2018 using village funds.

"This year BUMdes has been formed but only limited in human resources preparation through training and to operate in 2018," he said.

BUMdes Karya Mandiri, said Erwansyah, will manage the type of service business in the form of BUMdes Mart in the hope of increasing the income of the community and the villagers.

Erwansyah himself became one of the participants of BUMdes and BUMdes Mart technical guidance conducted by the Manpower Agency together with the board of 57 other BUMDES.

Head of Department of Labor Syaiful Ikhwan said the technical guidance is to provide knowledge in the management of BUMdes and BUMdes Mart.

"The local government targets 121 villages in Tabalong to develop BUMdes and BUMdes Mart in an effort to improve the economy of the community," explained Syaiful.

The technical guidance was opened by Assistant of Economy and Development Hamidah Munawarah. She said by the establishment of BUMdes at least the villages independently improve the local economy.

"Each village can utilize its local potential in developing its business, including through the establishment of BUMdes and BUMdes Mart," Hamida explained.

Technical guidance is carried out in two groups each three days from 9 to 11 November for the first batch, while the second batch is on 14 to 16 November 2017.
