Police chief appreciates officer protects society

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 27/10 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana appreciates Brigadier Kusnin who performing his duties as a police officer by protecting the community.

The award to Brigadier Kusnin was handed over by the Police Chief on the sidelines of Police Expo 2017 at the 2nd floor of Duta Mall Banjarmasin on Friday.

"I salute Brigadier Kusnin who is able to pay medical expenses for the residents of Tungkaran Village, I have not been able to do that yet," said Police Chief in his speech.

According to the number one person in the ranks of South Kalimantan Police, the generosity of Brigadier Kusnin who is willing to pledge his salary to the cost of treatment of the citizens is exemplary to other police.

The member of Bhayangkara Security and Public Order (Bhabinkamtibmas) of Martapura Kota Sector Police, Banjar District, is considered worthy to receive the award.

"The police task is not only to carry out the functions within the police force, but to help the community with all the capabilities is also good so it deserves to be appreciated," he said.

"The role model is not only a leader. Although only a brigadier, if it worth an example, why not, for example Brigadier Kusnin," said Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the reward to Brigadier Kusnin was also given for his efforts to turn the idle land into fertile agricultural land in the village of Tungkaran, Martapura Kota.

Brigadier Kusnin admitted that he is proud and happy in his efforts to help people and get an award from police chief.

"I am proud also happy and will continue to give the best for the community. Thanks to the support of the leadership of Banjar Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Takdir Mattanete," he said.
