Amuntai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The North Hulu Sungai (HSS) Police have managed to uncover 13 drug cases with the as many as 14 dealers were secured.


The HSS Police Chief Adj Sr Comr Agus Sudaryatno in Amuntai on Wednesday said most of the cases revealed during the Antik Intan code operation September 18 to October 1 related to drug and psychotropic trafficking cases.

"Of the 13 cases disclosed in operation, nine were related to Health Act and four cases related to Narcotics Act," said Agus.

Of the four narcotics cases, police confiscated evidence of 6.69 grams of sabu-sabu (crystal meth), while in the Health Act related cases as many as 104,539 Carnophen or Zenith pills seized as evidence.

HSU Police was actually given two of Operation Target (TO) and another three of non-TO in the 2017 Antik Intan code operation, but in the implementation, the resort and sector police of HSU managed to reveal 13 cases with 14 suspects.

Agus urged the public to continue supporting and assisting police officers to combat the circulation of illegal drugs and psychotropic drugs in the HSU jurisdiction.

The press release was attended by HSU Police Officers, such as Deputy Chief of Police Comr Handoyo Yudhy, HSU council member H Bambang, Amuntai State Prosecutor, Intel of Kodim 1001 Amuntai Captain Eko Wibowo, the board of HSU Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), and Acting Head of Health Agency Agus Fidliansyah.
