Three villages in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan Province, were awarded with the Local Adipura by the local Regent for their commitment in maintaining cleanliness, healthy and well-organized environment.
"The three villages that received the best predicate are Sari Mulya in Sungai Loban Sub-district as the first Best, Wonorejo Village in Kusan Hulu Sub-district the Best II, and Angsana Village in Angsana Sub-district as the Best III," said Tanah Bumbu Regent Andi Rudi Latif in Batulicin, Saturday.
As a form of support for environmental management at village level, the local government presented three-wheeled vehicle for waste collection to each award-winning village.

"Congratulations to the villages receiving the Adipura Local award. May this award motivate them to continue to raise awareness of the environment and inspire other villages in Tanah Bumbu," said the Regent.
He also hopes that all sub-districts and villages would be more active in maintaining cleanliness and managing waste properly, and creating a well-organized, healthy and beautiful environment align with the Tanah Bumbu vision and mission and to support the national program of ASRI (safe, healthy, clean, and beautiful) movement.
On this accasion, Regent Andi Rudi Latif also presented social assistance to cleaning officers and environmentally-friendly carts to MSMEs.
The assistance was expected to strengthen waste management system in villages, to maintain the environment remain clean, healthy and comfortable for the community.
