Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The National Armed Forces (TNI) in its 100th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) activities this year in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, will open up the road to connect Walangkir Village and Padangin Village in Muara Harus Sub-district.


"A total of 150 members of the TNI and the community are involved in building the village road of Walangkir along 3.2 kilometers as a connecting road to Padangin Village," said the District Military Commander (Dandim) 1008/Tanjung Lieutenant Colonel Arm Anang Krisna Indra Kumara in Tanjung on Wednesday.

Not only building roads, TNI members are also involved in the renovation of three bridges, mosques and houses, while they also doing other social activities.

Dandim was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 100 TMMD in the courtyard of the state junior high school SMPN 3 Walangkir attended by Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani and Territorial Assistant Provincial Military Command (Kodam) VI Mulawarman Colonel Inf Hery Setya and members of regional leader communication forums (Forkopimda).

"The activities of the TMMD proved to accelerate physical and nonphysical development as well as provide a positive impact for the community economy," explained the Regent.

This year there are three physical projects carried out by Kodim 1008/Tanjung through TMMD, among of them are making of an access road to Dusun Sialing, Village of Walangkir to Madang Village and the continued road connecting Takulat and Baco Village.
