Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Post-red handed operation (OTT) of some PDAM Bandarmasih and DPRD Banjarmasin officials, the bureaucracy in South Kalimantan is monitored by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"This case becomes the entrance of the KPK to unravel corruption in the region," said lawyer DR H Fauzan Ramon SH MH in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.

According to Fauzan, now officials in South Kalimantan will be more careful in relation to the drafting and ratification of regional law or various projects that often occur tug-of-war between businessmen and related officials in the tender auction process.

For that, the Doctor of Law Science is hoping KPK can continue to develop cases of OTT to dismantle all involved in it.

Fauzan also wants the ranks of the Attorney and Police in this area to actively participate in revealing cases of corruption, so it is not considered no real movement.

"Examples of cases are now handled by South Kalimantan Prosecutor’s (Kejati) namely the official trip of provincial legislative and social assistance funds (Bansos) not to be taken over by KPK for too long of disclosure," he said.
