Tabalong prepares smart city

Tanjung, South Kalimantan 9/8 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tabalong Informatics Communication and Statistics Agency prepares three sub-districts to be a smart city by expanding the internet network in those areas.

Head of the agency Imam Fahrullazi in Tanjung on Wednesday said the three sub-districts are Tanjung, Tanta and Murung Pudak, will become smart cities in early 2018.

"By expanding the internet network, we want to realize three sub-districts as a smart city (in 2018)and Tabalong digital in 2019," explained Imam.

Imam was speaking in front of the students who participated in healthy internet socialization conducted by the agency of Informatics Communication and Statistics.

The agency also has already coordinated with PT Telkomsel related to the addition of BTS in order the internet can be enjoyed by rural communities to remote areas.

Meanwhile, in the socialization of healthy internet, acting Head of Statistics and Encoding of the agency Edy Suriani explained the benefits of the use of information and communication technology.

"Now we can be easier to make transactions and communications with the Internet network," said Edy.

In addition to adding insight around the internet, the participants also learned internet security delivered by computer network controller system Hilas Stefanus.
