Batulicin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tanah Bumbu Police, South Kalimantan, arrested nine jambret (snatchers) who troubled the local community.


Tanah Bumbu Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Kud Subiyantor through the Head of Crime Detective Unit AKP Khairul Basyar in Batulicin on Monday said two of the nine perpetrators are still underage. and their status is still as a junior high school student.

"Two underage perpetrators are IR (16) and EK (15) residents of Tanah Bumbu, and although both are still underage, the case continues to the court until there is a decision from the judge," he said.

In every action, the perpetrators use two motorcycles. Their number can be three to four people, two executing, and the rest securing the location.

The evidence is secured by the police, among them three motorcycles from various brands, dozens of mobile phones and hundreds of thousands of money allegedly from snatching results.

He said, things like this is very unfortunate if it happens, let alone the perpetrators are children who are still under age.

"It could be the players who are still underage out of parent supervision, so their activities are not controlled which resulted in criminal," he said.

Described, all crimes of any kind can actually be minimized by way of negotiation or discussion. In addition, parents should provide religious and legal education to avoid free association.

Meanwhile, police will continue to conduct criminal eradication in the area of Tanah Bumbu. The most important thing to do by coordinating with the Bhayangkara Assistance Unit for Security and Public Order to provide legal knowledge and education.

"The high number of crime in Tanah Bumbu is influenced by the lack of education and legal knowledge, the teenagers free association and lack of supervision of parents to children," he explained.
