Kandangan, South Kalimantan, 18/7 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Hulu Sungai Education Agency in South Kalimantan received quota of Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) for 5,078 students from early childhood, nonformal, community education, elementary to junior high school.


Head of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Education AgencyNordiansyah through Head of Junior High School (SMP) HM Sadyi Masun in Kandangan on Tuesday said the qouta of 5,078 students is KIP target for the program year of 2015-2016.

The program, he added, divided on for early childhood education programs (PAUDNI) and one for community education (dikmas), as many as 4,355 for elementary school (SD) and 772 for junior high school (SMP).

Until now, he added, the realization of the KIP program has reached 95.35 percent or 4,842 students out of the total of 5,078 students who have been set.

"So as many as 236 KIP has not been realized, because there are students who moved places, some are already working, graduate school, even some students or parents who do not know that they still entitled to receive KIP," he said.

He explained, for the SMP level most students who do not take KIP funds are in the Daha area, the main constraint because of the distance.

In fact, he added, Disdik has long informed that funds can be taken either individually or collectively by using a letter of authority.

The amount of funds for KIP for SD or Package A Rp450 thousand per person, SMP or Paket B Rp750 thousand, and courses Rp1 million.

The use of KIP funds for school purposes and channeled through Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) using virtual numbers in each educational unit.
