Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (antaranewsKalsel) - The Central Banjarmasin Sector police secured a box car carrying 715,000 pills G-class drug type of Carnophen in the city.


"We secured the car on Sunday (18/6) at around 17:40 , when passing on Jalan Soetoyo S, precisely at traffic light intersection by Teluk Dalam gas station, Central Banjarmasin," said police chief Comr (Kompol) Uskiansyah here on Monday.

The disclosure of the drugs, which circulation permit has been revoked, originated from information of society that there will be Carnophen transported in large quantities using a box car.

Crime investigation police led by Second Inspector (Ipda) Achmad Doni Meidianto STK moved quickly to ambush the car when passing on the scene.

"Members immediately conducted a search on the black Mitsubishi box car with police number DA 1971 NV brought by driver SN (29) and found in it 715,000 pills of Carnophen drugs," Uski said.

Based on the description of the driver, the plan was the pills will be delivered to the recipient named Ardi on the roadside of Jalan Gatot Subroto, East Banjarmasin.

"The driver is still a witness and we are still digging his statement deeper," said former Head Unit of Sabhara Banjarmasin City Police.

Police chief also ordered his staff to coordinate with Drug Detective Unit of City Police for further case development in expectation to reveal the network of traffickers of confiscated Carnophen.
