Violence perpetrator submits himself to police

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 23/4 (AntaranewsKalsel) - A violence perpetrator surrendered himself to the nearest police after injuring his victim at Jalan Mahat Kasan, Banjarmasin.

"It's true, the perpetrator has submitted himself to the East Banjarmasin Sector Police," said Commissioner Dese Yulianti in Banjarmasin on Sunday.

The East Banjarmasin police chief said that the perpetrator, MT (61), a resident of Jalan Gatot Soebroto, surrendered shortly after he injured his victim with a wasi belitung type knife.

The persecution took place Saturday (22/4) afternoon at around 15.00 on Jalan Mahat Kasan, precisely near night guard post RT33 Kuripan, East Banjarmasin.

Meanwhile, the victim, D (58), also a resident of Jalan Gatot Soebroto, has received medical treatment at Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin.

The motive of the persecution was said as offense, after the perpetrator was reprimanded by the victim while fishing.

"The perpetrator has been detained to undergo the examination process due to criminal acts he has done," said the police chief.
