The Government of Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan Province, encouraged participants of the 2024 inter-provincial and inter-regional youth exchange (PPAPD) to become agents of change in development in their respective regions.
"You are young generation that will be the nation's future leaders. So, take advantage of this experience as provision to keep on innovate, maintain togetherness and become agents of change that will bring a positive impact on the nation and state,” said the Kotabaru Assistant for Economy and Development H Murdianto when closing the PPAPD in Kotabaru, as reported on Monday.
On behalf of the local government and people of Kotabaru, he expressed his deepest gratitude to all parties involved in organizing PPAPD.
Murdianto also thanked the participants who had shown extraordinary passion and enthusiasm, as well as mentors and facilitators who provided guidance and valuable learning.

PPAPD activities are one of ways to introduce regional potential to friends from other provinces and regions.
Through this program it can be seen that Indonesia has very diverse wealth, culture, art, and extraordinary natural potential. Participants from various regions certainly now have a deeper understanding of teh wealth that exist in this country.
Head of the Kotabaru Tourism, Youth and Sport Office (Disparpora) Sony Tua Halomoan said this activity was also an effort to prepare a quality young generation.
"We need to prepare young generation who has the capacity, creative, innovative, reliable, independent, democratic, responsible, competitive and has leadership, entrepreneurship, pioneering and a national outlook based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution," he said.
On this occasion, Sonny expressed his gratitude to five village heads and their staff who had supported and served as placement location for PPAPD participants for approximately 20 days, they were village heads of Tirawan, Batuah, Megasari, Sebelimbingan and Semayap.
The 2024 inter-provincial and inter-regional youth exchange in Kotabaru was attended by 80 participants as provincial and regional representatives.
