The government of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, through the Land Office distributed land certificates to former victims of fire accident in Kotabaru Tengah Urban Village, Pulau Laut Sigam Sub-district.
Head of Kotabaru Land Office I Made Supriadi expounded that as many as 128 land certificates were distributed to residents affected by fire accident in Kotabaru Tengah Urban Village in 2020.
"This is the result of land restructuring or consolidation for community and cooperation of all parties," he said here on Thursday.

I Made said that the distribution was a collaborative land consolidation program which very rarely carried out in some areas or perhaps this is the only one.
Because it involves various parties, besides the regional government for infrastructure and facilities, there are also assistance from third parties for physical construction of the houses.
"(Then) we are who provide legality for the land. So this is the contribution of all parties," he explained.
He also explained that the land certificate provision was a concrete form of the government;s effort to provide sustainable spatial planning for the community.
"And this could be a model for other regions for land consolidation in resolving land problems in the community," he said.
Head of Kotabaru Settlement and Land Office Ahmad Junaidi hopes that the certificates can improve their ownership status.
"These certificates hopefully can improve the ownership of the houses they have lived in for approximately 1 year and 14 months," said Ahmad Junaidi.
