Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Tanah Laut Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Adi Darmawan Sentot visited a child, victim of violence, in H Boejasin Hospital Pelaihari, Thursday (19/1).

AKBP Sentot Adi Darmawan was accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Ade S Paparihi to see health condition of the child who live in Ranggang village, Takisung Sub-district.

"We're here to see the condition of the victim who is still in intensive care in H Boejasin Pelaihari hospital," he said in Pelaihari.

According to police chief, S is a victim of persecution by H, 13 year old, his own senior in a primary school in Ranggang.

"The motive of the incident due to perpetrator's uneasy feeling against the victim," he said.

In this case, it sought law diversion first. Not the police alone, but involves all elements. If the family refuse, then the legal process continues.

"Because the offender is still under 14 years, then we do not detain him. Hopefully there is a solution that both parties agree through diversion or other efforts," he explained.

Ade Papa Rihi added, the perpetrator is not arrested on the basis of Child Protection Act section 80, paragraph 2, with the threat of five years in prison.
 
Separately, Sarifuddin, the victim's parent, said the incident began when Tuesday (17/1) the actor asked the victim to give him crackers, but the victim refused. He then took the victim into his house.

Here he tied the victim's hands with a belt, and laid him down and covered him with sarong, and directly stabbed victim's stomach with a dagger.

"After that my child was bathed by the actor and tied his abdominal wounds with a mop, then told him to go home. I hope the perpetrator is processed according to law," he said.
