Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The municipal government of Banjarmasin ensures the relocation of street vendors (PKL) from Jalan A Yani held on January 25, 2017.


"It is now confirm, on 25th all street vendors on Jalan A Yani from kilometer one to kilometer six to be evicted. No more push back," said the Head of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) Agency Eko Priyo here Tuesday.

He said there is no reason for vendors to keep feet on the protocol street pavement to the deadlines set by the city government.

"All should move to a designated place of Baiman Culinary Center on the Inner Ring Road, without exception," he said.

He admitted, not all vendors expressed readiness to migrate at the set time, but the city also will not delay anymore.

"Because relocation sites are 90 percent ready for the street vendors, including parking lot have already fix, even my own car made a trial to the strength of parking lot. Its ready," he said.

Priyo said, about 70 vendors enrolled to occupy the Baiman culinary Center, each get a stall, even some have done tidy up.

"We expect all support it success, because this is for the sake of public order. Main street must be clean from the activities of street vendors, one of which aims to ease the flow of traffic," he said.

Meanwhile, Banjarmasin legislator Rudiani stated, the municipal government must be firm, indiscriminately in the discipline of street vendors, even to the rest.
