Head of the office' Disease Control and Prevention Anhar Ihwan here on Monday said that his side has encouraged district and city health offices in South Kalimantan to intensify socialization to the community.

“The aim is that people recognize the symptoms and action they should take if they encounter symptoms like Mpox,” said Anhar.

People who suffer symptoms of fever and rash are urged to immediately check themselves to the nearest puskesmas (community health centers) and to comply with health protocol by avoiding crowds, washing hands with soap or alcohol, and wearing masks.
