Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Banjarmasin Mayor Ibnu Sina and the Governor of Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia, SO Plantong signed a joint promotion of tourism and workforce training,


The signing Letter of Intent (LoI) held in Seam Reap government Office, Monday (16/01), in the presence of officials of the two governments.

According to SO Plantong, this partnership will add to the close relations the Government of Indonesia and the Cambodia.  "Relations between Indonesia and Cambodia has existed for a long time," he said, on the sidelines of his remarks.

Meanwhile, Mayor Ibnu Sina in the presence of SO Plantong and local officials presented the tourism potential of the river city of Banjarmasin.

Former member of South Kalimantan legislative council also promoted the beauty of river tourism of Banjarmasin, through the visual impression of the display.

Before ending activities, in particular Ibnu Sina invited the Governor of Siem Reap SO Plantong to come to Floating Market Festival in September.

Today (17/01), Ibnu Sina planned to sign another LoI with the Minister of Labour of Cambodia for the same cooperation.

Mayor of Banjarmasin went to the State of Cambodia in order to establish cooperation in manpower training and tourism promotion.

With the cooperation it is expected that tourism potential in Banjarmasin later known not only by domestic but also by international tourists, thus boosting their interest to visit the city whose slogan Baiman (means clean and comfortable). (Humpro-bjm)
