Batik Air Opens Banjarmasin-Jakarta Flights

Banjarbaru, Kalsel 23/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Batik Air opened the route for Banjarmasin-Jakarta flights for twice a day. 

Batik Air Operations Director Captain Zwingly here Friday said the opening of the Lion Air subsidiary is to provide flight options to the public.

"We see the demand for services from Banjarmasin flying to Jakarta and vice versa is quite high, so the strategic factors spurred our steps to open this new route," said Zwingly.

He said Batik Air departing from Syamsudin Noor at 12:55 pm and arrive in Jakarta at 13:45 pm, while from Jakarta at 09.30 am and arrive at 12:15 pm.

Zwingly, in front of South Kalimantan Deputy Governor Rudy Resnawan and Banjarbaru Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan, said it had prepared a plan to enterBanjarmasin since last year.

The opportunity to open a new route came after Lion Air's flight schedule moved, so Batik Air could operate.

"Our operations, not only selling flight tickets, but continues to improve the safety and comfort of a passenger flight so safe," he said.

According to him, he still sees the response of passengers using the services of Batik Air. and if the flight schedule is still open then ready to add flights.

Vice Governor Rudy Resnawan welcomed the opening of Batik Air flights from Banjarmasin to Jakarta because it will increase the choice for the community.

"The new route is certainly adds to the people's choice in using air transportation and airline is expected to provide the best services," said vice governor.
