Kotabaru, (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 254 housing units reserved for civil servants (PNS) in the district of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, are not inhabited, hampered by the lack of availability of power from PT PLN.


Head of Kotabaru Human Settlements and Housing AgencyH Akhmad Rivai here on Saturday said that civil servants housing construction has been completed, but can not be occupied because there is no electricity.

"We will coordinate with PT PLN to find a solution to the civil servants housing in order electricity immediately be installed," he said.

According to the former Head of Mining and Energy Agency, the electricity is a classic problem for Kotabaru district, because it is still experiencing power shortages.

"We hope that soon PT PLN is really going to build subsea network to distribute power from the electrical flow region of South and Central Kalimantan to PulauLaut Kotabaru," he said.

In addition to housing civil servants, the government is also now set up five offices in Sebelimbingan also threatened yet to get electricity.
