PT Air Minum Sanggam (AMS) Balangan futsal team won the championship after defeating PDAM Banjarbaru in the final of the 2024 South Kalimantan Perpamsi (the Indonesian Tap Water Companies Association) Sport Week.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God) we are very grateful with the results, hopefuly other sports achieve the same as futsal,” said Director of PT AMS Balangan Arie Widodo here on Saturday.
He said the company's futsal team has achieved it target to be the champion at the 2024 Perpamsi provincial games in Tanah Laut Regency.
Arie admitted that the success was thanks to the hard work of the athletes from the beginning of competation until entering the final.

In addition to futsal, PT AMS also won second place in singing competition.
“For next year, I'm very optimistic to win again in futsal and not to rule out the possibility of other sports, and this reflects on talents and abilities possessed by employees,” said Arie.
Meanwhile, PT AMS futsal team captain Amiril was grateful to be able to win the chamionship.
He said, his team was able to make up for the failure experienced in last year's final.
“Alhamdulillah this year is our year, because we faied last year, so this year we must succeed in becoming champion in futsal,” said Miing, his nickname.
Miing thanked the management and employees for fully supporting the futsal team in this year's championship.
