Acting Regent of Tapin, South Kalimantan, Syarifuddin said that the success of winning Adipura Award 2023 must become a symbol of enthusiasm for a better managing of the environment.

"Greening program will keep on to be conducted in Tapin Regency to make it beautiful and comfortable," said Syarifuddin in Rantau, Tapin capital, Saturday.

Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin accompanied by Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya Bakar had presented the Adipura Award to Tapin's Assistant for Government Zainal Abidin at the Manggala Wanabhakti Auditorium, Jakarta, Tuesday (March 5, 2024).

He said the Tapin government had proven it was serious paying attention to and preserving the environment after winning the Adipura Award for the fourth time.

"We should not just be complacent because we have achieved Adipura Award, but must continue to work to manage the environent well," he said.

Syarifuddin said, with good environmental management involving all levels of society in Tapin District a healthy life will be created.

"Thank you to all parties who had participated in maintaining the environment of Tapin Regency, so we obtain Adipura for the fourth time," said Syarifuddin.

The Head of Tapin Environment Agency Nordin said that his side will be more aggresive in carrying out programs to maintain this achievement.

"The Adipura Award was won by Tapin for four consecutive time from 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2023 from the Ministry of Environment of Indonesia," said Nordin.
