Mayor of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin is targeting Banjarbaru to win Child Friendly City (KLA) with the highest category of Nindya. 

"We are targeting Banjarbaru Child Friendly City to achieve the Nindya category and ask for the support of all parties," Aditya said during the KLA Task Force Meeting at the Gawi Sabarataan Hall, Monday.

He said Nindya is the highest ranking for a child-friendly city, so he always encourages all parties to make it happen as proof of the government's attention to the rights that every child needs.
 
"To achieve this target, of course cooperation from all parties is needed and evaluation of activities carried out in the previous year so that we can achieve the best this year," he said.
 
The Mayor emphasized evaluation as an important step in efforts to improve standards for fulfilling children's rights and protection, so that every child can live a good life.
 
"We will evaluate the fulfilling of  a number of indicators that are less optimal and lack of supporting data so that we can show the real situation," he said.
 
Head of the Banjarbaru Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Community Empowerment, Population Control and Family Planning Office Puspa Kencana stated that her office ready to realize KLA with Nindya category.
 
"We are making a maximum efforts to realize the Nindya category of KLA and this task force meeting is part of the steps and strategy to realize the highest ranking of KLA," she said.
