The City Government of Banjarbaru, south Kalimantan Province, is ready to open a digital-based public service to provide a faster, efficient and inclusive services for the public in the city.
 
"The Digital Public Service Mall is efforts to improve public services that are more efficient and inclusive for the public," said Mayor Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin in Banjarbaru, Wednesday.

The Mayor made his remarks at the socialization of the Digital Public Service Mall at the hall of Idaman Banjarbaru General Hospital attented by the city government agencies (SKPDs), the hospital employees and invitation.
 
He said this is part of digital transformation in providing faster, more accessible and user-friendly public service in the capital city of South Kalimantan Province.

"One of important aspects of this program is the adjustment of licensing requirements for health workers, in line with the provisions in Law No. 17 of 2023," said Aditya.

The law provides a new legal framework regulating various aspects related to health worker licensing requirements in order to create health service standards throughout Indonesia.
 
"Every ASN (state appratus), especially health workers, is required to innovate and be creative in order to meet all service demands which must continue to be improved so that people are satisfied receiving them," he said.
 
The digital public service mall, he pointed out, is to bring services closer to the community, because they can access services according to their needs, including health, demography and others.
 
"We keep on to be committed to improve the quality of public services and must ensure that every resident of Banjarbaru can enjoy easier and more efficient access to public services," he said.

Previously, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform launched the National Digital Public Service Mall (MPP) at the Vice-Presidential Palace, Jakarta,  with a total 60 MPP in Indonesia went digital.
