Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Police arrested a man for carrying a guns while escorting a tugboat TB Bintaro pulling a barge Bal 163 in the Barito River.
"The man secured by the water police unit intel together with members of Korem (military district command) 101/Antasari after getting information from citizens," said Police Chief Kombes Pol Anjar Wicaksana here Wednesday.
He said the man carrying a homemade firearm with seven bullets was arrested on Wednesday (21/9) night at around 18:30 pm while on board he escorted.
He was then brought to Denpom VI/Bjm, because of claiming as a member of the army and served in Kopassus Unit.
After undergoing investigation, the man handed over to the Police because he has been dismissed from his unit. SR (41) last rank was Chief Warrior.
"The evidence of pistol and seven bullets and the actor who is also a former member of Kopassus all taken to the Banjarmasin Police to further legal proceedings," he said.
