The Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Office (DKP3) of Balangan District, South Kalimantan, in collaboration with TP-PKK promoted awareness on Diverse, Nutritiously Balanced, and Safe (B2SA) meal to SMPN 4 Paringin students.

“We hold B2SA Goes to School to support consumption of B2SA meal, as well as educate the public from early age, especially students, through promotional activities,” said Deputy Chairperson of TP-PKK Balangan Megawati Ulpah here, Tuesday.

She said, this is also the local government's efforts in handling stunting through consumption of meal that is full of nutrition and nutrients, so that children live healthy, active, and productive.

Megawati also advised students to adopt nutritious and balanced diet through B2SA meals.

Principal of SMPN 4 Paringin Murjiah expressed her gratitude that the Balangan DKP3 has held B2SA socialization in her school.

"The students are very enthusiastic and grateful for the trust from DKP3 in choosing our school as a medium to socialize B2SA, because it is very important for our school children to know that B2SA is," she said.

Murjiah said that this activity is in line with SMPN 4 Paringin which was appointed as the healthy school representing Balangan District to compete at provincial level.

In addition, she said, at her school every half month there is a nutritious meal together.

“Hopefully this support and coperation continue to be established with related agencies through one of SMPN 4 Paringin's program Ayo Ceting (Let's prevent stunting),” said Murjiah.
