Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tabalong Forestry and Plantation Agency stakes enclave limit in 28 villages in and around forest areas.


Head of Forest Land Use Section of Tabalong Plantation and Forestry Agency Harlina Herawati in Tanjung on Wednesday said the boundary peg work involved Central Forest Area Stabilization (BPKH) Region V Banjarbaru.

"The forest enclaves boundaries also involve BPKH Region V Banjarbaru and South Kalimantan Forestry Agency which locations in 28 villages," explained Harlina.

According to the results of verification by BPKH as many as 28 villages in five sub-districts in Tabalong were feasible for enclave.

The location of peg limits are in the sub-district of Bintang Ara, Jaro, Muara Uya, Haruai, and Upau with the forest area reached 9234.9 hectares.

While the villages in the enclaves among are Hegarmanah, Panaan, Bumi Makmur, Burum, and Dambungng Raya. Including Jaro Village, Nalui, Taratau, Purui, Muang, Garagata, Solan, and the village of Lano.

To support this boundaries arrangement local government allocated Rp480 million from the 2016 district budget, including the proposed use permit for roads and bridges.

"Installation of boundary markers along the 187.7 kilometer enclave location," added Harlina.

After scoping boundary forest enclave completed, the boundaries committee involving related agencies such as the National Land Agency (BPN), sub-district head and village officials will sign official report.

The next is strengthening of the enclave of 28 villages will be done by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

One villager of Dambung Raya, Nurdin, expects development could be further improved in view of the limited access and electricity in villages inside the forest.

"In addition to the access road, we also expect the electricity in the Dambung Raya, making it easier for people to do activities at night," said Nurdin.
