Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Government prepares Rp15 billion for eviction of Martapura riverbank area at Muara kelayan.


"The land acquisition process in Muara kelayan have entered the land price assessment by independent appraisal team. The fund is set up this year to Rp15 billion," said Head of Board of Governance Iwan Ristianto here on Tuesday.

The budget can not be ascertained yet, while the estimated price of the land according to taxable value (NJOP) per square meter has not been established by assessment team.

"We hope the value to be established within this month, until we can take into account whether the budget is sufficient," said Iwan.

There are 117 buildings owned by residents along the riverside mostly possess land rights in the form of surat segel or sporadic and all to be compensated by the city government.

In the area of about three hectares which would exempt municipal government will build a continuity of river embankment (siring) and a low cost flat for rent (rusunawa).

The city government will also utilize a portion of land as a green open space (RTH), given the capital of the province does not meet the 30 percent target area of ??green open space and does not even reach 10 percent.

He believes the land acquisition in the area of ??Muara kelayan will be running smoothly and is expected in 2016 reached an agreement with the people who have so far been cooperative enough to follow the socialization held by municipal government.

"Basically people have acquiesced to the municipal government's plan, because they realized the continuation of construction of siring Martapura river can not be avoided up to where they live," he explained.
