Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Paringin, Balangan, police arrested a woman peasant selling hundreds of Dextro pills without a marketing authorization.


"Police received information from residents that at the perpetrator's home buying and selling drug were frequent. Then we carried out raid and arrest the perpetrator," said the Head of Balangan Police Public Relations Aiptu Pektrus Purbain Balangan, Friday.

He said the women who also a housewife was arrested on Wednesday (24/8) afternoon around 13:00 pm at her home in East Paringin. She is known with initials Ar alias Mama Yuli (38), a farmer.

In addition to arresting the perpetrator, the police managed to secure evidences, including 575 Dextro pills, 32 Zenith pills and cash money Rp113.000.

Findings on the evidence, the police immediately secured the perpetrator and the evidence to be taken to the Paringin Sector Police for further legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, at the raid led by the Paringin police chief, police found a man who was drunk of G-class drug.

The man was immediately interrogated and admitted he bought drugs from the homeowner, Ar, after a search and police found G-class drug type of Zenith and Dextro wrapped in a black plastic and cash sales.

Ar has been named as a suspect in a case of violating the Health Act and will be processed according to the rules.
