Adaro Energy Indonesia,  as a form of gratitude ahead of its 31st year, had again distributed aid food packages for pre-prosperous families around the company's operations through Adaro Sharing Program.


The Adaro Sharing Program was held through PT Indonesia Bulk Terminal (IBT), part of Adaro Logistics, to bring happiness for 764 pre-prosperous residents in Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan.

"We are very happy to receive free food assistance, hopefully will always be successful," said Juriah, one of underprevileged resident in Tepian Balai Village.

Apart from Juriah, hundreds of poor families spread across four villages in Pulau Laut Tanjung Selayar Sub-district and one village in Pulau Laut Barat Sub-district were also the target of Adaro Sharing Program.

"This assistance is a form of Adaro's gratitude at the age of 31," said Yan Agus, Deputy Port Division Head of PT IBT in a press statement received here, Sunday.

Together with Rumah Zakat as a partner, Adaro symbolically distributed basic food aid in stages on 8 and 9 August 2023.

Starting from Tata Mekar Village which received 128 food packages and 168 packages for Tepian Balai Village and 195 packages in Gosong Panjang Village. 
 
Then, 202 packages of assistance for Kampung Baru Village and 71 packages for Teluk Tamiang Village.

"By carrying the theme Adaro Turn On Heart, we hope that all element in Adaro and beneficiaries will always feel enough and be grateful in living a life," said Agus.

Sub-district Head of Pulau Laut Tanjung Selayar Baharuddin appreciated and expressed hisgratitude for Adaro Sharing Program for underprivileged residents.

"This assistance is very appropriate, it is like the dry season now, we are thirsty, and Adaro comes to bring water," he said.
