Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Balangan Police Chief AKBP Moh Zamroni, Sik prohibits cop in the district to download or plays Pokemon Go, which is on rampant.
"All members (cops) who have android cellphones have immediately been checked in a sudden. No one could avoid," told police PR Aiptu Pektrus Purba here on Friday.
It was the Balangan Police chief who did the check at 7.30 after a morning ceremony. He was accompanied by Internal Affairs Division (Propam) chief Aiptu Bambang Surya.
The police chief said the Pokemon Go is dangerous as it has GPS that fear to let outsiders know the secret parts of work environment or any parties to steal chance and profit of them, especially intelligence.
Besides, the safety of his personnel if play the game would be in danger as many have happen when players out of mind carried away by the game.
"So we hope the prohibition from police chief to be obeyed by all ranks of Balangan Police," he said.
