Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Health Agency Head Achmad Rudiansjah said dozens of doctors deployed at the posts to anticipate the occurrence of accidents at the peak of mudik (homecoming) for Idul Fitri 1437 H, since since D-7 to D+7.


"So each post on alert with one doctor, two nurses and an ambulance driver, for 24 hours in turns," he said in a press conference at the office of South Kalimantan Health Agency in Banjarmasin, Friday.

He said there are 50 integrated post established to monitor flow of mudik in 13 districts and cities in the province, all equipped with the medical team.

If until there is accidental injuries, said Rusdiansjah, aid for victims must be done immediately up till they get admission to the hospital.

"The hospital will soon need to perform disaster relief to victims of this accident. Put back out administrative problems," he said.

Eventhough travelers or BPJS cardholders from outside, according to him, if they have accident in the area must be served free of charge.

"Why not, should be treated first, documents can be followed later, especially for those who can not afford," he said.

Because, said Rusdiansjah, the province's Jamkesda could guarantee it, but this is reserved for victims of accidents in time of Eid homecoming season.

According to him, not only the hospital to be on alert during this Eid holiday, but also community health centers (puskesmas) in accident-prone areas are also on standby for 24 hours.

"We expect people to be going home to his hometown to maintain health and safety, if less healthy on the road stop at the nearest post, all free examination," he said.
