Though the company whose owner from Batulicin, South Kalimantan, wanted to build a power plant with a capacity of 2 X 100 Mega Watt (MW) in the province, near the mouth of his own mine.

The power plant near the mine is for efficiency or avoid the high cost, so that raw materials do not require too much freight, and in turn can sell a product (electricity) relatively inexpensive.

He explained that the Commission III of the DPRD also had discussed issue permits to build the power plant with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

"The issue we were talking about when Commission III came to the Directorate of Electricity Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. But it seems they could not do a lot," said the former employees of the Ministry of Finance.
