Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Environmentalists Green Community Forum (FKH) Banjarmasin greening Loksado tourist areas in Meratus with tamarind and aloes tree.


About 700 seedlings of tamarind and aloes brought by the FKH in the green action in the village of Niih, Loksado, South Hulu Sungai (HSS) district coincides hero memorial day May 17 of Navy Army Division IV Kalimantan, on Tuesday (17/5), said Deputy Chairman of FKH Banjarmasin Mohammad Ary, Wednesday.

According to Mohamad Ary, about 500 tamarind or asam jawa and 200 aloes seedlings handed over to the local community to be planted in their residential areas of the rural community.

Of that number, 200 seedlings were delivered to State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Loksado students in hope the seedlings were handed over to their parents to be planted in their respective fields.

The delivery of 200 tree seedlings were received by a number of SMPN 1 Loksado teachers who was then headed by Vice Principal Hadriani.

While other 500 seedlings submitted by FKH to the head of Kanyak Custom Hall, Dayat, to be distributed to the community in the Upper Village area of Hulu Banyu Loksado, especially in the areas of bare land in order to return to green with plants.

To Dayat and the local village chief, Mohammad Ary who led the arrival of about 40 members FKH expected the greening plants to be grown and maintained properly.

"Please plant these seeds, if later people still need a certain amount of greening seedlings, FKH Insha Allah will fulfill it," said Mohammad Ary.
