Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Banjarbaru Noor Fadilah said all schools in the city were already infiltrated by narcotics and illegal drugs.


"All schools in Banjarbaru nothing sterile, because almost all were infiltrated by drugs. This condition is very alarming," he said in Banjarbaru, Monday.

He said the conditions and the data obtained from early detection has been done in almost all schools and many students known to consumed drugs.

He emphasized the concern felt was very reasonable for students using drugs is not just in a middle school but to the primary school level.

"So you can imagine the destruction of the younger generation, because there were primary school children who were already using drugs and other illicit drugs," he said regretfully.

Section Head of Preventive BNN Banjarbaru Winarti Agus added, the result of early detection which is carried out regularly in schools found there were students who use drugs in entire schools.

"Every school, many students who claimed to have used drugs. The amount in each school reach dozens of people," he said, accompanied by Head of General Department Berkatullah.

According to him, since 2015 until early 2016, BNN Banjarbaru already rehabilitated 357 drug users and 70 percent of them aged between 10-19 years.

"Most users of 10-19 years of ages and on average they used illegal drugs types Carnophen and Dextro, including smelling glue," he said.

Previously, the Mayor of Banjarbaru Nadjmi Adhani declared the war on drugs as a form of concern for abuse is reaching high school students.

"The war on drugs has been our declared jointly with TNI, Polri and BNN, while supporting measures to prevent drug abuse. We ask parents, families, teachers, inter-students keep each other up to prevent drug abuse around us," he said.
