PT Adaro Indonesia along with partners have given a special gift for Tabalong District at its 57th Anniversary, namely four units of free vehicles for school students transportation through their CSR.

The free school transportation and CSR fund worth IDR10 billion was handed over by the Adaro External Relation Division Head Thoha symbolically to the Regent of Tabalong H Anang Syakhfiani at the district's anniversary, Tuesday (Dec 6, 2022).

"This assistance is a form of commitment of Adaro in bolstering a free transportation program for the people and students in Tabalong," said Thoha.

It also considered the Tabalong government effort to provide a maximum free transportation service for the whole of sub-districts, especially in the north an south part.

Tabalong Regent H Anang Syakhfiani expressed his appreciatiation and gratitude for the commitment of Adaro and its partners in supporting a free and comfortable transportation service for the public or what so-called as Langsat Manis.

"This free transportation gives a positive impact to the people, one of which is increasing their purchasing power, because their spending on public transport is reduced," Anang expounded.

Even the innovation that was initiated by the local Transportation Office since December 2014 had reduces the number of accidents and traffic violation in the 'Bumi Saraba Kawa' (Tabalong's nickname).

Now with the addition of four vehicles from Adaro and partners it is expected that the service will cover all sub-districts in Tabalong.

Previously, the total number of transportation for students were 43 units as assistance from Adaro, PT Saptaindra Sejati, and PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri which are operating in Tabalong.
