Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Cooking oil industry belonging to Malaysian investor PT Golden Hope Nusantara in Kotabaru district, South Kalimantan, builds Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPA) as a form of concern over religious education for the community around the company.


Head In Charge of PT Golden Hope Nusantara Kotabaru Hamdi here on Friday said that the construction of a Koranic educational group (TPA) is a form of corporate concern over religious education for children of employees and communities around the company.

"The education system of the Koran will be divided into two groups: the surrounding community and children's groups of employees," he said.

In addition, the TPA operators will share a special group to study Al-Quran from hijaiyah recognize letters and other groups for those who can read Al-Quran and intend to improve.

When they could read Al-Quran, said Hamdi, children should also learn about the content of Al-Quran to life provision in this fana` (transitory) world.

Hamdi admitted in the era of modernization and advancement of science and technology, people are much wasting of time to read status in cyberspace, such as facebook, watching TV and others, rather than reading Al-Quran.

In fact, Al-Quran is a guide for Muslims who remained original by using the Arabic language is not going to change since 1,400 years ago and forever maintained by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

"I hope, with TPA Golden Hope the children of the community around the company and employees' children can learn Al-Quran seriously and understand its contents," said Hamdi.

Meanwhile, PT Golden Hope Nusantara, which was built with an investment of Rp1.2 trillion, has a production capacity of 825,000 metric tons per year. Twenty percent is for domestic oil needs, or conversely 80 percent to meet the needs of domestic and 20 percent could be exported.

Of the 110 employees of PT Golden Hope Nusantara, 80 percent a local workforce recruited by the company.
