Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tabalong Government received an injection of funds from PT Adaro Indonesia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2016 smaller than last year.
CSR Manager of PT Adaro Indonesia Ideham Kurniawan said this here on Tuesday following a formulation by Tabalong CSR program synchronizing team with the CSR team of the coal mining company.
"This year CSR funds for the district of Tabalong down compared to last year (Rp17 billion) to Rp10.6 billion. Furthermore we undertake the formulation of a program of activities with local governments," said Ideham.
Separately, the chairman of the Tabalong coordination and synchronization team Erwan said CSR program formulation with PT Adaro has been done, including inserting the funding proposal for the construction of a culinary center and fruit market.
"We have submitted the proposal for the construction of a culinary center and fruit market to CSR team of PT Adaro now awaits a decision from the company," said Erwan.
Because CSR funds to Tabalong reduced compared to last year, according to Erwan, a number of activities, particularly infrastructure, reduced and many CSR programs earmarked for community empowerment and economic independence.
CSR programs in this most northern districts in South Kalimantan include five fields, namely economy, education, health, social, cultural and environmental.
Erwan added, CSR programs in education remains a priority in order to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the Saraba Kawa Earth (Tabalong).
