Paringin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan, South Kalimantan, is now starting to be ogled by many investors from various regions in Indonesia, even from some countries, as it has a quite large natural potential.


Balangan elected Vice Regent for 2016-2021 period H Syaifullah in Paringin on Thursday said several potential that attract investors such as the construction of steam-fueled power plant (PLTU). In addition, rubber factory, warehouse like warehouse for stock of tires, minimarket, birds nests, and several other potentials.

"Quite a lot of entrepreneurs are interested in investing in Balangan, not only of Indonesia entrepreneurs, but there are some investors from China as well," he said.

Nevertheless, he said, a deep study is needed whether these investments could benefit Balangan, which impact on improving the welfare and progress of society or not.

According to him, as the area is still in the development phase, Balangan is a strategic place for third parties to embed shares or invest.

Assistant for Economy and Development of Balangan Ahmad Fauzi said the local government will provide convenience for investors who come in, either licensing or other procedures.

But, he said, for which the facility must be fixed in accordance with the regulations established and based on the stage procedures.

"We never tried to obstruct the investors to expand its business in this Sanggam Earth, as long as all the procedures established well done," he said.

For example, he added, the development of RISA, the warehouse area of PT Adaro Persada Mandiri, also running smoothly, because the whole procedures established by the government followed properly.
