Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - General Manager of Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin Heryudhitiawan Handy said, the expansion development of the airport began in March 2016.
"PT Angkasa Pura has finished paying land compensation, so that the physical construction to mark the expansion development could begin in March 2016," he said in Banjarbaru, Monday.
He said that PT AP is ready to pay the remaining restitution of land has not been acquired with the funds Rp20 billion from PT AP center.
The additional funds amounting to Rp8.6 billion is to pay 13 parcels of land that have not been measured and to pay public facilities and social amenities Rp13.5 billion.
"The fund has been prepared by PT AP central and we immediately requested that the funds be disbursed. It is estimated to liquid this week, so that it can be paid," he said.
If payment of the remaining land of the total area of 100 hectares of land for the development of the airport can be resolved, then the contractor can begin work.
He explained, bidding began in January 2016 and for 45 days estimated there will be a winner. If there is no objection, the airport's physical can be started.
