Tabalong Regent Anang Stakhfiani requested that the implementation of Tanjung Green City in Maburai Village, Murung Pudak Sub-district, to involve local workers in the hope of increasing the income of the community around the project.
"Empower local workers to have an impact on the income of the people around the project site," said Anang in Tanjung, Tuesday.
Not only involving local workers, the project which uses loan funds from PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur is expected to use local material.
Head of Tabalong Public Works and Spatial Office Wibawa Agung Subrata said that in the early stages of Tanjung Green City a 4,2 kilometers long road with 30 meter wide is constructed.
"Besdes roads, we also building six bridges from the regional loan fund for regional economic recovery," Agung expounded.
For road construction Rp86.9 billion was allocated, with PT Citra Salim Serasi as the contractor, and Rp17 bilion to build six bridges.
Tanjung Green City ground breaking event at the project site was also attended by Deputy Regent Mawardi, Chairman of DPRD Mustafa, and other invitees.
