Chairwoman of the Banjar chapter of the National Handicraft Council (Dekranasda) Nurgita Tiyas said the Dekranasda building could be used as a showcase of the development that displays various programs and the vision and mission of the regent and deputy regent.

"The Dekranasda building is strategically located on the Jenderal A Yani Street km 38, Martapura City, so it is very strategic to be a storefront for development according to the regent's vision and mission," she said.

Nurgita Tiyas, who was previously ianugurated by Regent Saidi Mansyur as Chairwoman of the Banjar Dekranasda, is determined to increase the role in development in the district.

According to the wife of the Banjar regent, she and Dekranasda want to play a role in regional economic recovery efforts through empowering MSME players through various products displayed in the Dekranasda building.

"Alhamdulillah, yesterday we received two to three visits from other regencies, especially from Central Kalimantan, namely Pulang Pisau and Kasongan. They were very enthusiastic to see the products," she said.

In addition to MSME products, Banjar is also supported by extraordinary natural resources, such as Lok Baintan floating market and the Sultan Adam public forest park (Tahura)--- even though they are fostered by the South Kalimantan Provincial Government but are in the Banjar District.
